Our Cathedrals and display pieces come primarily from Brazil with a few of our finer pieces originating in Uruguay. The Amethyst Cathedrals are cut from massive geodes found all over Brazil. Some of these geodes have very thin and fragile walls and must be reinforced and carefully packaged for them to be able to survive the 8,000 mile journey to our wholesale customers here in the United States.
